Many patient health organizations advocate for similar goals. But there wasn’t a unified voice representing the 4.2 million Arizonans living with a chronic health condition—until now.
Arizona Chronic Care Together (ACT) seeks to shape policy decisions that protect every Arizonan's access to preventative, appropriate and affordable health care. The result: healthier communities and more productive individuals and families.

Cindy Komar
Founder & Executive Director
Cindy has over 20 years of patient health nonprofit leadership experience. She has been a strong advocate for chronic health conditions, with an unwavering commitment to coalition building, grassroots advocacy, strategic planning, and policy development.
Cindy is a proven visionary with significant experience in entrepreneurship, having founded five organizations that all provide a perpetual income stream benefitting a nonprofit mission.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee works closely with the executive director to represent members’ interests and establish annual strategic priorities. They help steer the organization toward a sustainable future by making sure the coalition has adequate resources to advance its mission.
